World renowned composer Goran Bregovic, will compose the music for the “Atatürk Documentary” which is planned to air in September.
The composer from the Balkans came to the Marmara city of Bursa during the weekend to perform a concert, said he held talks with the company producing the Atatürk Documentary. He said, “The documentary will be aired in September in Turkey. Now I am working on this project. I will work with local musicians. I will visit the places where Atatürk lived. The music of the documentary will consist of his favorites. He lived in Thessalonica, Macedonia and Turkey. I will visit these places and compose music for the documentary.”
The composer said he was learning about Atatürk by reading a detailed book and that he had never received such a proposal before and never previously worked for a statesman. “This documentary on Atatürk will be the first of its type. I think that the project is a very big responsibility, not only for me but also for my team.”
